Head Athletic Trainer -

Rory Blevins, MAT, ATC, LAT, CES, PES

Rory is returning to Shadow Creek to begin the '24-25 school year after a six year hiatus, and could not be more excited and motivated to help lead top-level care for the student- athlete population. He was a member of the inaugural SC athletic training staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer from 2016-18, and was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Alvin High School from 2018-24. Prior to his time with the Alvin Independent School District, Rory was an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Houston Dynamo of Major League Soccer. Prior to his time in the MLS, he was an Associate Athletic Trainer for the United States Soccer Federation's Under-17 Men's National Team. He carries certifications in dry needling, blood flow restriction, Graston technique, Kinesio taping, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Performance Enhancement Specialist. In his spare time he likes to travel, attend concerts and sporting events, and spend time with his wife (Meredith) and two sons (Brecken & Asher).

Assistant Athletic Trainer - 

Reeona Curseen, MA, LAT, ATC 

Reeona Curseen is entering her third year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Shadow Creek. Previously, she worked as an Athletic Trainer at Howard University from 2020-2022 and Kent State University 2019-2020. Reeona was a Graduate Assistant at the University of Houston from 2017-2019 working with a plethora of sports during her time. In addition, she served as an Intern Athletic Trainer for Newberry College.

Assistant Athletic Trainer -

Houston Pepper, LAT, ATC, MSAT

Houston Pepper is in his second year at Shadow Creek High School as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.  He previously spent 3 years at Brazoswood High School in Lake Jackson TX.  He graduated with his Masters' of Athletic Training from the University of Idaho in 2020.  His hobbies consist of golf, hiking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. 

Houston Methodist Outreach Athletic Trainer -

Amber Wynard, M.Ed, ATC, LAT

Amber Wynard is entering her first year at Shadow Creek High School as the Houston Methodist Outreach Athletic Trainer.  The previous three years, she was in this role at Alvin High School.  Before her time at Houston Methodist Hospital, she worked as the sole Athletic Trainer at Beaumont Chiropractic, and was also a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.  She has certifications in blood flow restriction and dry needling.  Her hobbies consist of baking, reading, traveling with her Husband and working out.
