Shadow Creek splits 24-5A series with Rosenberg Terry

The Shadow Creek Sharks split their 24-5A Baseball series with Terry last weekend.

The Rangers collected a 2-1 triumph in the series opener Thursday in Rosenberg. Ben Greer delivered two hits and an RBI to lead the Sharks, while starter Lloyd Richards only allowed three hits in taking the hard luck defeat on the mound.

Shadow Creek rebounded with 3-1 home victory Saturday in Pearland behind winning pitcher Sebastian Soliz 10 strikeouts on the hill.

Warren Shankle and Sabian Hernandez drove in a run apiece for the Sharks, who next host Lamar Consolidated Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Jackets open 24-6A Baseball play Tuesday - The Alvin Yellowjackets played a late Thursday game with Cinco Ranch in Katy and will next open 24-6A play on March 19 with Clear Lake at Nolan Ryan Field at 6 p.m.
